The Green Brain Approach: a structured, evidence-informed method in three stages. 1, Red, understand behaviour: we start with the brain science behind what your child is doing, not to excuse the behaviour but to read it. Once you understand the signal, the response changes. 2, Yellow, build awareness of patterns, triggers, and the part your own responses play. Awareness leads to understanding; understanding leads to change. 3, Green, create calm and connection through regulation strategies, relational tools, and a consistent daily rhythm. Regulation before reasoning, always. Sustain runs underneath all three, making the change hold so calm becomes the default: consistent routines, stronger relationships, lasting change, sustained calm.
